Job Summary/Description:
WRDW-TV/WAGT-TV in beautiful Augusta, Georgia, is looking for a weekend meteorologist/multimedia reporter.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Producing and anchoring weather forecasts
- Content creation for WRDW-WAGT Digital platforms (Web, OTT, APP, Social Media)
- Special Projects as assigned
- Report for outdoor, weather, and science-related news coverage.
- Shoot video, edit video, post video, pictures, reports from the studio, and the community
Qualifications/Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have experience forecasting and presenting weathercasts.
- A degree in meteorology, climatology, or atmospheric science is required, along with skills in the operation of computerized weather presentation systems, especially WSI.
- Certified Drone Operator is a plus.
