Job Summary/Description:

The Social Media and Digital Content Manager is an integral part of our newsroom. The ideal candidate is able to produce fast, compelling, and accurate content and take our on-air broadcast to the next level as an important source for news and video.

You must have strong news writing skills, a strong understanding of social media strategy and how it can be used to gather and distribute news, the ability to adapt to breaking news situations and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

A degree in social media/journalism is preferred. To hit the ground running you would need a knowledge of Facebook best practices for journalists, Social News Desk, WordPress, Google 360 analytics and iNews.
