Our team produces 41 hours of news each week across our ABC and NBC channels and is committed to local, in-depth special programming that airs in addition to traditional newscasts. Job Summary/Description:

WPTA is looking for a creative news producer to join our 7pm news team, who is looking to create and contribute something different than your traditional newscast. The successful newscast launched earlier this year and continues to break with tradition. Yes, we provide the top stories, and important weather information but we also dig deeper. You'll work with a dedicated Digging Deeper team, a group of journalists dedicated to going beyond the headlines to bring our viewers important stories that matter. Those reporters are given the time during the 7pm news to tell stories with even more purpose and perspective. You'll help lead the charge.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Four Year College Degree in Journalism or Related Field
- Previous producing experience a major plus
