Job Summary/Description:

WPTA is looking for a strong journalist to take the lead producing and anchoring our popular weekend morning newscasts. The position requires strong news judgment, excellent anchoring skills and a desire to tell and share important stories with our viewers.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Work hard to craft and deliver compelling and conversational newscasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
* Find compelling stories to lead nightly newscasts three days during the week
* Develop and maintain a list of sources and contacts

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Four Year College Degree in Journalism or Related Field
* Previous producing experience a major plus
