WPHL-TV is hiring an Digital Sales Specialist!
As a member of the Nexstar digital sales team, the Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for generating and growing digital marketing service revenue for the company. The Digital Sales Specialist will be the market's subject matter expert on digital services and will work, both independently and in conjunction with the Nexstar sales team, to achieve budgeted revenue goals in the digital marketing services area. The Digital Sales Specialist will achieve this by professionally and effectively selling Nexstar Digital Local Agency Services suite of digital products (including targeted video, digital audience and reach extensions, SEO/SEM, and sponsorships) with the objective of advancing client objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute go-to-market digital sales strategies and tactics that result in exceeding personal and company revenue targets
• Establish, maintain and grow meaningful client relationships
• Prospect and generate new digital business
• Be an effective partner working with the sales team to help build and present proposals on sales calls, generating digital revenue for existing or new accounts
• Meaningful contributor in sales meetings on digital marketing topics (ex. best practice sharing, industry trends). Assist with training sales team on digital marketing services
• Showcase proof of performance reporting back to clients to retain and grow digital accounts
• Track and optimize campaigns based on clients KPIs
• Help to place digital orders and pull reporting, as needed
Requirements & Skills:
• BA or BS in Business Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
• 3+ years of digital marketing or digital media sales preferred
• Significant knowledge of digital advertising products and effective use for meeting client's business needs. Products include Display, Preroll, CTV/OTT, email, social and SEM/SEO.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment
• Effective communication and client presentation skills with the ability to interact with high-level decision makers
• Ability to execute in an organization through collaboration and a consultative process
• Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
• Microsoft Suite required
• Meta Ads Manager, GA4, GTM and GAM preferred
