WOWT is looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team of marketing/advertising professionals. At WOWT, we help businesses grow in the market through effective marketing and advertising solutions. We are looking for 10+ years of media sales experience, a professional who likes working with people, and wants to earn $140,000+ commission income. The Senior Account Executive generates revenue through advertising sales by servicing existing transactional accounts and developing new business. The Senior Account Executive is evaluated on achieving television & digital revenue budget goals, new business development goals, client service and thorough, accurate forecasting, teamwork, and attitude.
Our Senior Account Executive works to increase the share of revenue, grows new business, develops, and maintains excellent agency and local account relationships. The Senior Account Executive sells sports, partnerships, and specials; works with Traffic and Production departments to ensure spots are produced and placed on-air as ordered. Collects money from advertisers following the airing of a schedule, exceeds budget goals, and accurately forecasts revenue projections.
The successful applicant's background must include a bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent. We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive with at least 10+ years of experience managing large billing accounts and who has a proven successful media sales record. Must be able to work quickly and accurately under deadlines and prioritize workload. Work schedule may vary depending on station/client needs. Meetings are required and account executives are expected to be on time and prepared. Occasionally a meeting or event may be scheduled outside of regular working hours. Valid driver's license and good driving record (will be reviewed) Pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing are possible throughout employment.
