Job Summary/Description:

Gray Television seeks a talented Producer who can tell impactful stories and enhance our broadcasts. The Producer will be responsible for selecting, writing, and assembling a blend of stories for broadcast each day. The Employee will work closely with news management in the design and delivery of the content and style of newscasts to make sure we're fulfilling our brand and duty to the public. The ideal candidate will be someone with a sense of service, highly ethical, and able to have a great time doing a tough job.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
• Selecting, writing and assembling news for broadcast and digital platforms
• Monitoring additional feeds for supplemental material
• Working closely with the news management in the design and delivery of the content and style of individual newscast
• Previous experience as a television producer preferred.
• May include overnight and/or weekend hours

Qualifications/Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in communication, journalism or related field
• Flexible work hours required, must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to: mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, holidays, weekends and possible overtime hours.
• Must be willing to work in Omaha, NE
