Job Description
Wondery is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Wondery's Chief Content Officer (CCO) and one other senior executive. This is an exciting time to join a fast-growing company in a role with the potential to make a meaningful impact. The CCO you will be supporting is shaping the creative direction of the podcast industry through Wondery's content, TV and film business, video production, and its global content expansion. Wondery is an audio-first content company, and in this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with the content team and across the senior leadership team. We are looking for someone whose EA experience encompasses both traditional media and entertainment, and entertainment within tech, as this role will require interacting with a mix of external high-talent and high-level creative partners. This role is for someone who enjoys ''context-switching'' between creative and business orgs, who is organized and personable, and who can handle a high scheduling volume.
The EA's primary responsibility will be to act as a seamless extension of the executives you support and to help them be more effective leaders. You will have a support network of other similar roles across Wondery and Amazon. Great EAs understand business priorities, proactively anticipate needs, are capable of completing complex tasks with little guidance, and drive process improvements that continue to improve capacity for themselves and their managers over time. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, have great judgment, an entrepreneurial mindset, be comfortable with the uncomfortable, rigorously maintain composure and confidentiality, and adapt to change. This person will be able to demonstrate outstanding planning abilities, strong communication skills, superior attention to detail, an obsession for organization, and the ability to juggle competing priorities. Key job responsibilities
- Support Wondery executives in helping them to be more efficient and more effective leaders.
- Manage complex calendars and scheduling across multiple locations and time zones and help ensure executives are where they are supposed to be, when they are supposed to be there
- Help executives to be prepared for meetings by conducting pre-meeting briefings, developing draft meeting agendas, taking and disseminating notes and action items, etc.
- Conduct inbox communication and action item monitoring and prioritization to ensure executives are progressing key initiatives; prevent bottlenecking and important initiatives falling through the cracks
- Coordinate domestic and international travel
- Complete a wide range of other administrative tasks (e.g., submitting expense reports, filling out company forms, coordinating meeting logistics, assisting guests with building access, etc.)
- Partner closely with the broader leadership team, key business partners, and other Wondery and Amazon teammates to help the team monitor and execute team agendas and goals
- Organize, execute, and/or assist with internal and external meeting and events (i.e., off-sites, pitch meetings, team gatherings, happy hours, content seminars and trainings, and other events)
- Be the main point of contact for all space management and office logistics for Wondery's NYC-based employees
- Be a Wondery ambassador and culture leader, help make Wondery fun
- Network and liaise with other Amazon team members, and learn how to navigate the broader Amazon organization
- When needed, represent Wondery at industry and recruiting events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience managing multiple calendars
- Prior experience supporting media executives (e.g. producer, agent, manager) as well as experience at a tech company
- Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for the role and the company's mission
- Obsessive organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve process and efficiency
- A self-starter able to deliver results in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
- A love of podcasts, film, TV, and other media and entertainment
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
