WMBF-TV is the NBC Network affiliate for the Grand Strand and Pee Dee regions of South Carolina and parts of North Carolina. This Gray Television owned station was launched in 2008 in Myrtle Beach, SC and was built as a state-of-the art High Definition broadcast facility. We broadcast 39 hours of live local news and weather along with NBC programming to 8 counties along the Grand Strand beaches westward into Florence, SC. We also use digital media platforms to deliver your Live, Local, Late Breaking news coverage to an ever-growing audience in the 95th Nielsen market. Myrtle Beach is a family vacation destination for millions of visitors each year due to our white sandy beaches, more than a hundred golf courses, amusement parks and mild weather. Job Summary/Description:

WMBF-TV, the NBC affiliate in sunny Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our winning sales team. This position is responsible for growing existing accounts and developing new business by providing excellent customer service and offering multi-platform advertising solutions which include: WMBF-TV, Bounce TV and a suite of digital media products. Success will be measured by meeting and exceeding new and existing business development goals.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
* Sell advertising consistent with station policies and rate guidelines
* Responsible for the negotiation of rates with local and regional clients
* Service existing accounts and create special sales opportunities specific to each client
* Seek out and win the business of new advertisers
* Assist in the production of client's needs and act as a liaison with all departments
* Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
* Seek out new information through research and utilize in client proposals effectively

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business or a related is preferred
* Wide Orbit, Microsoft Excel, and Matrix experience is preferred
* Ability to get along with others and maintain effective interdepartmental relationships
* Superior knowledge within Microsoft Office
* Negotiation skills are required
