Job Description
WLUK Green Bay, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Weekend News Anchor / Reporter for our morning newscast Good Day Wisconsin. This is a leadership role where you will work with a full team of journalists to produce the market's leading weekend newscast. The anchor works with a team of producers to craft three hours of broadcast and digital content. This position also works with the assignment desk to coordinate coverage after the newscasts ends. Digital, Social and Broadcast platforms are all equally important in your role as a journalist. During the week, you'll report live from the field for Good Day Wisconsin. From Breaking News to Live Community Events, your stories will serve as a connection to our audience in Northeast Wisconsin. Green Bay is ranked as a #1 place to live in the US We enjoy four seasons, and plenty of outdoor activities: Hiking, Biking, Skiing....not to mention the beauty of Lake Michigan and Door County.
Oh and they don't call us Titletown USA for nothing, as we are home to Pro-Football's most entertaining team.

Skills and Experience:
• A self-starter and who can generate your own story ideas on a daily basis
• Ability to deliver creative and engaging live reports from both breaking news and community events.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build your brand and solicit original story ideas

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Previous anchoring experience is required
• Must have at least one year of on-air experience
• Live shot experience is required
• Previous experience working in a team environment is a must
