Job Summary/Description:

WLBT-TV in Jackson, MS seeks a dynamic Digital Sales Manager to work with our entire sales team and GDM (Gray Digital Media) to develop and grow digital sales.

The DSM will lead the station's efforts in developing new and incremental digital business. The position works closely with the LSM and reports to the General Sales Manager and is responsible for the day to day sales efforts, management, and training on our digital products. The DSM will accompany sellers to presentations on a regular basis and assist directly in closing business. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a consistent and successful track record of leadership and revenue development.

WLBT's core digital footprint is dominate in the Jackson market and one of the strongest in the country. To date we have more than 400,000 FB friends that engage in our brand at a very high level. WLBT is the only station in Mississippi that has built a digital studio that creates broadcast quality content that can be streamed and viewed live or delay across all of our platforms.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
*Candidate must have a strong digital acumen across platforms
*Skilled in building client specific digital campaigns that help solve the challenges and achieve the business/marketing objectives of our clients
*Strong sense of urgency to generate revenue
*Exceptional skills in recruiting, coaching, and training sellers
*Achieving digital and team revenue sales objectives, building relationships, communicating clearly and the ability to forecast, manage budgets, and execute a strategic plan is critical
*Ability to manage multiple projects, extremely organized, and great time management


Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent is preferred
Minimum of 5 years prior experience in broadcast sales
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a sales team, strategic planning, and a track record of growing revenue
