Job Summary/Description:

WKYT-TV is looking for a dynamic full-time Anchor/Multimedia Reporter. In addition to being an outstanding journalist with a great personality, you need to be a team leader. The ideal candidate will display professionalism and personality, both on and off the air. Our anchors are leaders who participate in the planning of our shows and produce content regularly. Candidates must also possess strong presentation skills, strong work ethic, broad knowledge of current affairs, the ability to work effectively with a team of professionals, have an aptitude for social media, and passion for innovation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Assist with producing and write newscasts as needed
- Find creative ways to showcase newscasts
- Anchor newscasts
- Oversee news content
- Creative storytelling through creative shooting, writing, and editing
- Other duties as assigned
- Digital

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience delivering compelling newscasts on the air and content on digital platforms
- Experience with state-of-the-art newsgathering equipment for shooting and editing
- Advanced skills in Edius and ENPS strongly preferred
- Ability to write news stories, shoot and edit content that grabs viewer's attention
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in broadcast is preferred
- Demo reel of your best work is required
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to contribute in an on-camera and off-camera team environment
- Effective use of social media talent pages
