Job Description
WICS/WRSP has an immediate opening for a full-time Newscast Director!

Responsibilities:
• Perform any production duties as assigned including:
• Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions
• Train production crew in cameras, audio, video editing, graphics, etc.
• Supervise production crew on a daily basis
• Maintain production studio and control room (Including cleaning)
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which may include website and social contributions and producing. We often train directors to be producers in our newsroom. This allows our crew to better understand each other's roles to serve the team in creating our best product.

Requirements:
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
• Typing and good spelling skills necessary
• Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
• Must be able to lift & position 40 pound lighting instruments
