Job Summary/Description:

WFIE dominates news and now we are looking for an Anchor/Reporter here in Evansville, Indiana who can help us grow that lead into the future. We are looking for a strong, engaged, animated communicator who can mesh with our incredibly tight team. We're part of the Gray family, so you know Journalism and Digital growth are in our blood. You'll be working alongside some of the strongest anchors in the country, and with the brightest reporters around.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
*You'll need to be an excellent storyteller, great at live shots and dedicated to digital.
*Bring your skills and we'll make you even better with our experienced team of managers.
*You'll be asked to do some anchoring and reporting.
*You may be producing what you anchor.
*You'll need to know how to shoot and edit and post and we will offer you training on how to use our systems right from the start.
*We have skilled photojournalists too.
*Reporting and Anchoring experience preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Candidate must be a motivated team player with a great attitude. Successful candidate must be a strong writer, have a deep understanding of a story's context and have a strong news judgment. Successful candidate will thrive at breaking news reporting, and producing. You must be very comfortable with leadership and change, with the ability to guide reporters on their news coverage.
