About WEEK:

WEEK-TV is an award-winning station that leads the community in local news coverage and community involvement. It operates a number of TV stations in the Peoria, IL television market including WEEK 25 (NBC), Heart of Illinois ABC, and Peoria-Bloomington's CW.

Job Summary/Description:

WEEK-TV in East Peoria, Illinois is looking for a director to oversee weekend newscasts. Directors will use Ross Overdrive to direct the newscasts.
• Responsibilities include directing the WEEK-TV newscasts, creating graphics, and working with the news department to produce the final product. The position also involves with send and checking and switching content in the master control system when not directing.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Candidates must have a strong technical knowledge of using software and hardware, good communication skills and be able to cooperate with a supportive team with strong ethical values. Experience directing newscasts or similar production experience is a plus.
