Digital Sales Specialist

Job Description

WDCW Washington DC's WB Affiliate and WDVM-TV Independent News leader is looking to hire a Digital Sales Specialist to work with our sales executives and sales managers to support servicing and maximizing station digital revenue opportunities. In this role you will help with order entry, client creative, traffic and accounting team needs. The Digital Sales Specialist is also responsible for performing various administrative functions required by department personnel as needed.
• Performs a range of administrative functions for the Sales Department
• Order entry, client creative trafficking, campaign performance tracking
• Cross train with Local and National Sales Assistants
• Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve issues
• Prepare various forms and reports
• Monitor inventory for linear and digital advertisers
• Maintains files and other business records
• Support Reach Director with sales material for account executives

Requirements & Skills:
• College Degree Preferred
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, organized self-starter
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Minimum one year's experience in digital/administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Working knowledge of social networking sites and streaming content sites
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Work with multiple digital platforms for insertion, analytics and reporting
• Monitor campaigns to ensure accurate and on-time delivery
• Ability to work both independently and collaborate in a team environment
• Knowledge of digital marketing, digital advertising or digital media planning experience is preferred
• Up to date on latest trends in digital marketing service industry
• Resourceful, problem solver and a skilled multi-tasker
• Strong collaboration skills
