Job Description

WBTW in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the dominant local news outlet in the Eastern Carolinas, is looking for an experienced EVENING ANCHOR/PRODUCER.

In addition to traditional responsibilities, the anchor is expected to contribute extensively to digital platforms.
• Review and copy edit scripts in assigned newscasts
• Anchor assigned newscasts
• Produce 10 p.m. newscast two days per week. If the show's producer is off, employee will produce up to five days in a week.
• Regularly interact with viewers on social media platforms
• Regularly appear at special events
• Report for special projects
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
• College degree
• At least three years' experience in reporting or anchoring
• Prefer experience with producing newscasts
• Prefer experience covering the Myrtle Beach market
