Job Summary/Description:
WBTV is looking for a bold, enterprising visual storyteller. This is not an entry-level photographer position. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, excellent communicator who can work independently and as part of a team, turning stories with a reporter, and creating and contributing to feature, investigative, and long-format pieces. Primary duties include gathering video, interviews, and information, editing for broadcast and digital/ social platforms, setting up/ executing live shots, and other duties as assigned. The shift may include weekends. WBTV is a legacy station with a proud history in local news. Please include a reel or examples of your work. They will be reviewed!
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Gather video, interviews, and information for news stories
- Edit video for broadcast and digital/social platforms
- Set up and execute live shots
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• ️ Schedule flexibility is a must. This is a full-time hourly position and may include working overnight, holidays, and weekends as well as some overtime.
