Job Summary/Description:
WBTV is searching for a weekend reporter who embodies passion, drive, and a commitment to excellence at the premier legacy station in the Carolinas. Additionally, this person will understand accountability storytelling, breaking news, and have a drive to s/ucceed across all platforms.
The successful candidate will work three weeknights, as well as the Saturday/Sunday shifts, as a General Assignment reporter. This person will also be responsible for covering breaking news and pitching branded stories that fit under the ''On Your Side'' brand. Additionally, the candidate will be a team player who knows how to collaborate across a multi-platform approach to storytelling.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Three or more years of minimum experience in a broadcast newsroom or digital newsgathering environment.
- WBTV is searching for a weekend reporter who is able to work in a fast-paced news gathering environment.
