Job Summary/Description:
This is a part-time position primarily responsible for editing video content for broadcast newscasts as well as digital, social and streaming platforms. You may be cross-trained on ENG operations, helicopter camera operations, videography, assignment desk, and other duties as assigned. Experience required.
Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
◙ Edit video for broadcast, streaming and digital/ social platforms
◙ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
◙ Non-linear editing experience required
◙ Experience with ENPS and BitCentral systems a plus
◙ Photojournalism experience preferred
◙ Must work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines
◙ Candidate should have good communication skills, experience and/or coursework in journalism
◙ Must be independent and self-sufficient and work well with a team
◙ News is a 24/7 industry requiring schedule flexibility- this is a weekend overnight position and schedule will include working holidays
