WBIR in Knoxville, Tennessee is looking for a Sports Anchor/Multi-Skilled Journalist.

This is a passionate city for Tennessee Athletics and other teams in our area. We need a sports journalist who can create creative content on a daily both on-air and online.

This sports department is looking to move away from traditional sportscasts and dive deeper into sports coverage in our unique market. The ideal candidate will be able to think outside the box to differentiate our coverage with engaging content for our viewers.

Responsibilities:
• Enterprise sports ideas on-air ad online, be a strong producer, be a skilled videographer and be a strong editor for all platforms.

• Be a great TV personality Have a strong social media presence Write, shoot and edit PKGs, VOs and VOSOTs efficiently on deadline
• Operate news vehicles to gather content for shows

Travel: Occasionally: 10-25%

Work Environment Set: Outdoors: performed in various outdoor environmental conditions

Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
