Anchor/Reporter (Weekends)

WBFF-TV is seeking a dynamic and motivated Reporter/Fill In Anchor (Weekends) to join our team. In this role, you will create compelling daily content across both broadcast and social media platforms. We're looking for a candidate with a keen ability to uncover stories, conduct thorough research, and write with an engaging, distinctive voice. Strong storytelling skills and TV production expertise are essential to deliver impactful and memorable news. Skills & Experience:
• Self-starter with the ability to generate daily story ideas
• Strong enterprise reporting skills and creative storytelling abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Active and engaging social media presence

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Previous anchoring experience
• Minimum of 2 years of on-air experience
• Experience with live shots

The base salary compensation range for this role is $78,280 to $97,850. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
