News Production Assistant (PT)

WBFF/WNUV has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant! We are looking for a PT News Production Assistant who will be responsible for helping us prepare our Newscasts.

Responsibilities include:
• Floor Direct and run teleprompter for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
• Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
• Preparing studio for air before newscasts
• Working with talent for al live and recorded elements
• Maintaining studio
• Lighting
• Potential to learn to direct on automation software
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:
• Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
• Training will be provided
• Degree in Television or a related field preferred

General Hours:
• Must be able to work on weekends
• Other hours as needed, on occasion
