CREATIVE SERVICES DIRECTOR (HANDS-ON CREATIVE)

WHAT YOU DO
As the Creative Services Director within Warner Bros. Discovery's Gaming Division, you lead the strategy, development, and execution of high impact creative across mobile publishing and performance marketing.
You oversee the production of static, video, playable, and interactive assets that support user acquisition, growth, social, brand, and lifecycle marketing efforts. You partner closely with user acquisition, product marketing, analytics, and production teams to ensure creative is aligned to business goals and optimized for performance. You set the creative vision, establish scalable production pipelines, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the organization delivers compelling creative at both quality and speed.
Your Role Responsibilities
WHAT YOU BRING
• Lead the creative strategy and set the direction for all mobile publishing campaigns.
• Oversee the concepting and production of high-quality creative assets across static, video, playable, and other emerging ad formats.
• Develop scalable creative pipelines and workflows that support high volume asset production without sacrificing quality or brand consistency.
• Partner closely with User Acquisition to develop performance driven creative designed to improve installs, click through rates, conversion, retention, and return on ad spend.
• Establish a strong test and learn culture by driving creative experimentation and rapid iteration based on performance insights.
• Drive competitive analysis and creative trend monitoring to identify new opportunities, fresh concepts, and winning approaches in the market.
• Build and mentor multidisciplinary creative teams across design, motion, editing, game capture, and interactive development.
• Ensure all creative output is on brand, insight driven, and aligned with both franchise standards and campaign objectives.
• Manage agency, vendor, and external partner relationships as needed to extend scale, capabilities, and speed.
• Represent the creative vision in leadership forums and advocate for the people, tools, and processes needed to deliver best in class work.
Qualifications & Experience
• Deep experience leading creative for mobile games, performance marketing, or advertising.
• Proven success developing creative for user acquisition campaigns across all formats.
• Strong understanding of mobile advertising fundamentals, including hooks, pacing, call to action design, and platform specific creative best practices.
• Ability to lead large scale creative production pipelines with balance of quality and efficiency.
• Familiarity with playable ads, interactive ad development, and mini-game ad experiences.
• Strong knowledge of branding, composition, typography, editing, pacing, and storytelling.
• Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or external creative vendors is a plus.
• Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, or related tools for capture, prototyping, or interactive creative development is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools to generate high quality static and video creative for mobile marketing.
• Strong working knowledge of AI powered image and video generation workflows, including prompt development, iteration, refinement, and quality control.
• Familiarity with emerging AI creative tools and best practices across image generation, video generation, editing, and concept development.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $126,000.00 - $234,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
