WAVY-TV 10 / WVBT FOX 43 is searching for a driven news anchor/reporter dedicated to breaking news and getting answers for the people in the Norfolk, Virginia market. Journalists at WAVY keep public service as the highest priority. The station has a reputation for winning breaking news coverage and using top shelf technology and resources like the only helicopter in the market.

The successful candidate will have strong command of all aspects of anchoring; demonstrates strong news judgment; and is a proven team leader. You must show the desire to put journalistic skills such as newsgathering, writing, interviewing, and ethical decision-making into practice daily. You will be responsible for generating sources, enterprising story ideas, and follow-ups. ''Digital First'' thinking is a must. The ability to shoot and edit your own stories on occasion is a plus.
Our goal is to connect with our Spanish-speaking community on all platforms including television, web and social media.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a multi-media journalist or reporter and fill-in anchor at a commercial station is required.

Fluency in English, bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Overnights, nights, and weekends may be required; candidate must be willing and able to work any and all shifts.
