Job Title: US Sync Temp
A little bit about our team:
The Global Sync department represents recorded music sync rights for Warner Music Group's (WMG's) artists and offers clients a comprehensive sync licensing service. They work to serve WMG's extensive catalog and the company's frontline record labels by strategically developing new opportunities in film, television, advertising, video games, and new media.
Your role:
Will be responsible for preparing and advancing data for every finalized sync deal to be ingested and processed by WMG's proprietary financial system, FIT.
Here you'll get to:
• Retrieve sync deal data from secure data transfer site
• Work with the Global Sync Team and Shared Services Center to complete a template which will be used to create Ancillary Products in WMG's Global Content Data Management ('GCDM') system
• Complete the Invoice Migration Template for as long as it is necessary
• Gather and submit any additional supporting deal information FIT may require
• Detect and communicate any special payment instructions to Royalty Operations
• Identify sync payments and match them with their corresponding deals
• Record and update sync payments in GLS (Global Licensing System)
• Other ad hoc tasks to support the Global Sync team with adopting the new FIT process
About you:
You must be an exceptionally organized and detail-oriented individual who can maintain focus on intricate, nuanced data for long stretches of time without losing sight of daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines. You must be a communicative person who can align and collaborate with the Heads of Music Clearance and Licensing Administration in Global Sync and with Income Tracking in the Shared Services Center.
We'd love it if you also had:
Familiarity with SAP, accounting practices and sync experience.
