Job Title: Senior Analyst, Finance

A little bit about our team:

The Finance department is responsible for accurately reporting the financial position of the company on a monthly and quarterly basis. In addition, the Finance department is responsible for establishing operational controls related to financial activities and preparing the yearly fiscal budget and monthly forecasts for which the company is measured against. Finally, Finance is a partner with all other departments regarding strategic decisions that benefit the company.

Your role:

This position will be responsible for assisting the Senior Director Finance with the preparation and analysis of various revenue reports for forecasting and budgeting purposes. In addition, the position will help to create and assess the profitability of various artist and label deals using internal P&L and IRR models. Finally, the position will be responsible for performing various ad-hoc projects, including, but not limited to, overhead analysis, individual artist and label deal profitability reporting, reviewing of artist and label statements, and other P&L and balance sheet-impacting activity.

Here you'll get to:
• Responsible for the creation and analysis of various domestic and international revenue reports (for both artists and digital service providers – ''DSP'') from multiple reporting systems and sources for the use in budgeting and forecasting deliverables.
• Work as a liaison with our Digital Services team to coordinate revenue reporting and analysis.
• Assist in the research and analysis of new and existing artist and label deals, through the use of IRR models and other evaluation methods, with the goal of insuring profitability of the overall deal.
• Assist in preparing revenue and recoupment forecasts based on historic information and trending.
• Review Joint Venture (JV) and Production and Distribution (P&D) statements prepared by Warner Music Group's Shared Services team, for issuance to artist and management teams.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling companies' overhead. Ensure that both actual and forecasted overhead charges are properly accrued and stated, as well as analyze variances of actuals to forecast and budget numbers and provide accurate and concise explanations for them.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts submitted to Corporate, with an emphasis in the areas of Overhead and Revenue projection.
• Special assignments / ad-hoc analysis as needed.

We'd love it if you also had:
• Proficient in various business programs and applications, including SAP and HFM preferred
• CPA, public accounting preferred but not required
• Minimum 3-4 years of Finance/Accounting experience
• 1-2 years of Music Industry experience preferred
• Finance and/or accounting degree

Salary Range
$65,000 to $85,000 Annually

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
