Job Title: Warner Music U Marketing & Events Representative

A little bit about our team:
Warner Music U (WMU) is the branch of Warner Music Group focused on developing artists. Our content and experiences are generated by aspiring creatives, with the intention of creating lifelong fans for our artists and labels.

Representatives receive hands-on experience in the music industry, working directly with full-time employees and artists from WMG label partners including but not limited to Atlantic Records, Warner Records, 300 Entertainment, Asylum Records, ADA, and Warner Nashville. Representatives work part-time, up to 18 hours a week, and can receive college credits if necessary.

Warner Music U is now hiring music fans with a passion for marketing, social media, promotions, and event planning for the Fall 2024 Semester as paid reps!

Interested? This should be you –
• Obsessed with music, and we don't mean one or two genres! You're someone who can find a favorite song or artist in any genre. You may be an expert in a certain style, but you can easily geek out over any type of music.
• You live and breathe marketing, and know your CTAs from your ROIs! You can think big when it comes to creating memorable experiences and events, and know how to pull in your desired crowd.
• In your community on and off campus, you are able to identify potential new audiences for WMG's developing artists and can execute measurable plans to turn them into fans.
• You are well-connected within your University and know how to utilize your connections. For example, you can secure a location for an event, obtain co-sponsors, collaborate with local companies, and ensure all campus protocols are followed.
• As an active user of social media, you are enthusiastic to use your personal accounts to create awareness and generate views for brand partnerships and priority artists across all genres.
• Discovering new music and the challenge of promoting artists early in their careers excite you, and you can think of many creative ways to do so.
• You are a self-starter who is excited about the idea of running your own projects.
• Willing and able to develop and maintain work relationships.
• You take pride in your work and your part in the bigger picture of artist campaigns.
• Your goal is to work full-time in the music industry upon graduation.
