Job Title: FP&A Manager, Warner Music Latina
A little bit about our team:
The Finance Department at WM Latina is responsible for supporting the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, budgets, forecasts and monitoring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. In addition, the finance department is responsible for ensuring that internal control policies are adequate and implemented. The department is a partner to all other departments with regard to making strategic decisions that benefit the company.
Your role:
The FP&A Manager will manage the P&L budget and Forecast process, cash flow forecast and deal approval process for new artists. Responsibilities include timely and accurate financial reporting, budget and forecast building and ad hoc analysis. We are looking for someone who can: build strong relationships within the label organization; take advantage of data & analytics to provide business insight and decision support, communicate effectively with all levels; drive improvements, efficiencies, and harmonization in planning, reporting and finance operations; understand technical accounting and its impact on the business
Here you'll get to:
• Participate in the profitability analysis of the businesses by label and apply to forecast and budget process
• Gather and analyze information to help other areas to provide a more accurate forecast for the P&L and Cash flow. Communicate potential risks and opportunities vs the plan and recommend action plans.
• Serves as a technical liaison to accounting, management, and other areas by providing financial planning experience, financial information and modeling, activity analysis and variance analysis.
• Lead the deal approval process for new artists with HQ.
• Responsible for providing monthly artist P&Ls for top artists.
• Prepares and reviews budget materials for executive leaders.
• Assist in monthly cash forecast and AR forecast, by monitoring cash balances, and artists advances and marketing spent analysis, working directly with the treasury team in Corporate.
• Work on special projects assigned including implementations, testing of system upgrades, report writing and documents local procedures. Provide metrics and specific reporting to senior management.
• Take a leadership role in continuous improvement of processes, tools, and templates.
About you:
• 5+ years of strong accounting experience in a global corporation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PIVOT tables, formulas)
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Strong ability to navigate systems to recognize and implement operational efficiency and reduce redundancy
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Experience with SAP, SAC and HFM
• Strong team player with ability to interact with all levels of staff in the organization.
