SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Works with the EVP of International Marketing to define, present and execute international strategy with a cross functional approach for Warner Bros theatrical marketing campaigns. The role focuses on thought leadership, driving box office, innovating our business, and working with 60+ International territories around the world. Works with our global theatrical marketing team to develop global campaigns that reflect International strategies, nuances and needs for each film that serves as the working model for the overall film campaign. The role will be accountable to two EVPs, one based in Burbank, one based in London with this position located in Burbank. Additionally this role will split films with two additional SVPs on the international marketing team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serves as a primary representative for International Marketing with global teams, international markets, senior management, filmmakers and talent.
• Guides strategy discussions and sets priority int'l markets with theatrical marketing and distribution, regional and local offices, and other WB divisions to optimize box office potential.
• Provide action-oriented recommendations and analysis based on strategic review of box office performance signals including tracking, paid media insights, and audience data to optimize marketing and media for box office success.
• Serves as point of contact for International Theatrical Marketing, liaising with key external stakeholders and other WB divisions to communicate strategies and ongoing tactics, keeping them fully apprised of all campaign activities.
• Works with EVP of International Marketing & the Creative Advertising team in the development, execution, and implementation of international creative campaign materials.
• Collaborates with a cross functional approach across Creative, Digital, Media, Publicity, Research, Data Insights, Promotion, Distribution, Home Entertainment, Consumer Products, Warner Media and in particular, HBOMAX.
• Manage the international marketing function for WBP feature films made for HBO Max – regardless of distribution platform (e.g. HBO Max, Theatrical, other platforms TBD). This will involve close collaboration with HBO Max colleagues and a good understanding and appreciation of streaming service KPIs.
• Oversees delivery of film information from production to key international marketing teams including filmmaker presentations/pitches, scripts, story presentations, scene selects, sizzle reels, filmmaker presentations, ''best practices'', etc
• Key point person to oversee local strategy, planning and big marketing beats for the international territories collaborating with our global teams to ensure global alignment while taking care of the local approach.
• Works with key regional team leads to oversee marketing campaign brainstorms-soliciting ''big ideas'' from key international territories to impact global, regional, and local campaigns.
• Oversees marketing opportunities for international events including exhibitor presentations, international comic-cons and stunts. Additionally, oversee international conferences and marketing roadshows.
• In partnership with cross divisional teams, encourage relevant marketing activity with other international divisions including but not limited to Warner Media and HBOMAX.
• Supports EVP International Marketing in development, implementation and follow-up on non film by film projects and any additional assignments/needs.

Work Experience

Minimum 10-15 years of experience based on relevant experience in the field of marketing, publicity, promotions, digital, performance marketing or advertising required, in progressively responsible positions.

Previous experience dealing with multiple international offices required.

Previous experience with developing and executing marketing plans required.

Previous experience with client management strongly preferred.

Previous experience with entertainment companies and structures is highly preferred.

Previous experience with managing big Franchise properties preferred.

Previous experience managing people/teams highly preferred.
