The Job

The Production HR team is newly formed and dedicated to providing hands-on HR support to cast and crew working on productions across WarnerMedia content businesses. The People Partners on the Production HR team will work primarily in production environments directly supporting the people that make our content. The goal is to be a recognizable and trusted HR partner to all personnel working on a WarnerMedia production. As a trusted HR partner to production, the main objective is to ensure and support a respectful, inclusive, safe and positive work environment, allowing people to thrive and do their best work.

The Senior HR People Partner will lead the Film Production people plan and be responsible for overseeing the People Partner team supporting Warner Bros. Film Productions in the UK, ensuring all productions have dedicated People Partner support through the correct allocation of resource and advisory support. The role works closely with Talent Leaders, People Solutions, COEs, HRS, Workplace Investigations and Legal as needed .

The Daily
• Lead HR point of contact for UK Film production cast and crew; serves as on-set/on-site HR presence for productions, both locally and on distant location. Responds to production-related inquiries regarding crew/cast concerns.
• Guides and coaches production leaders/HODs on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex HR issues including, but not limited to, performance management, conflict management, coaching, development, employee relations, talent and team development, and compliance, working closely with Talent Leaders, People Solutions, COEs, ER, LR, and Legal as required.
• Proactively manages and prioritizes work on the team to support business needs and HR strategies/objectives.
• Helps People Partner team to manage and resolve HR issues including, but not limited to, performance management, conflict management, coaching, development, employee relations, and compensation, working closely with Talent Leaders, People Solutions, COEs, HRS, ER and Legal as required. Provides advice, coaching, counseling, and training to proactively create/maintain an inclusive, respectful and safe work environment.
• Develops, delivers and facilitates training for productions on topics related to a respectful and harassment-free work environment.
• Embodies our culture through behavior and interactions, and champions inclusion and diversity on the set.
• Conducts surveys to gauge cultural climate and makes recommendations for appropriate action based on findings.
• Travels to productions on location when needed; last minute travel may be required.

• Significant experience supporting television and/or film productions and/or media freelance environment with a wide range of HR, critical thinking and business advisory skills.

• Strong in communicating with all level stakeholders, keen collaborator and builds strong relationships with employees.

• Sound knowledge of applicable UK legislation and regulations pertinent to production.
• Ability to travel – 25% of the role.

The Nice to Haves
• Previous experience of working within an American parent company and complex matrix organisation highly advantageous.
