Department Overview
The People Partner team is at the center of the HR function. People Partners are connected to business units (BU) and work closely with Talent Leaders and the business to understand a BU's talent strategy, initiatives and/or challenges and then in partnership with the People Solutions team and HR COEs, identifies & implements strategies and solutions that deliver high impact.

The UK People Partner organization partners with all UK-based WarnerMedia lines of business, including film and television distribution, networks, consumer products, digital distribution and licensing, Kids and Young Adults (KAYAK), WB Studio Tours & Operations (Leavesden), and all WB Games development studios.

Primary Purpose of the Job:
The People Partner Coordinator will provide direct support to the VP, Head of People Partners, UK in a variety of day-to-day HR activities, ranging from project/programme coordination to executive administration. In addition, the role will support the UK HRLT on key initiatives targeting both cross-business as well as BU-specific initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

The People Partner Coordinator supports the execution of HR programs, handles employee inquiries, and assists with general project management, conflict resolution, relationship management, etc.
Overall Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day HR support for the UK People Partner team on projects and general administrative activities
• Provide executive administrative support to the Head of UK People Partners and UK HRLT as needed, including expense reporting, diary management, budget coordination and tracking, etc.
• Assist the People Partner team to provide basic project management support on HR initiatives including, but not limited to, performance management, workforce planning, headcount and position management, compliance-related matters, employee relations, compensation, internal mobility, staff retention, talent acquisition, headcount and position management, talent and team development and compliance, working closely with Talent Leaders, People Solutions, COEs, and HR Services, as required.
• Help execute with the People Partner Leads and Talent Leaders HR-related initiatives such as, organization design & integration, talent management, compensation planning, employee development, succession planning, and performance management
• Liaise with HR Services on the coordination of hiring and termination of temporary employees and interns.
• Own and coordinate the processes related to the hire and termination of temporary employees and interns.
• Develop working relationships with stakeholders including People Partners​ Lead, Workforce Administration, COE partners, and business employees.
• Support HRS with administration of e-contracts, changes to terms and conditions of employment and termination confirmation letters to the HR Services team for handling.
• Transition electronic employee files to and partners with HR Services to ensure regular filing and archiving of leavers.
• Support the UK HRLT during the annual Total Rewards Planning process
• Coordinate with outside vendors on HR-related projects & initiatives
• Process HR invoices and initiate Purchase Orders
• Other HR-related activities, as assigned.

JOB RELATED QUALIFICATIONS & STANDARDS

Education
• Qualifications - Degree or equivalent qualification preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office packages especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel. (In particular experience of V look up and formulae)
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident communicating with all levels of staff within the Company
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with others
• Demonstrable data entry skills
• Patient, calm and unflappable nature and flexibility in approach to workload
• Enthusiastic and motivated Team Player
• Strong organisational skills and a good track record of multi-tasking and prioritising a workload.
• Must be discreet, diplomatic and treat information within the department as highly confidential
• Excellent time management essential
• Good telephone manner
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work; willing to learn and get involved with duties outside of day-to-day job description
• Meticulous attention to detail including proofing and editing.
• Ability to take initiative using own discretion and skills and work with limited supervision in a pressured environment

Work Experience
• Previous HR Administration experience is required with a genuine interest and understanding of the role HR plays in an organisation.
• Previous experience working with a total reward system is preferred
• Experience working with SAP and/or Workday databases highly preferable
• Previous experience of working within an American parent company highly advantageous.
• Proven experience of working in an administration role
