The Job

WarnerMedia seeks an Analyst, Union Pension, Health and Welfare for the HR Services Pension Health & Welfare department. The Analyst of Union Pension Health & Welfare has a full understanding of all functions required in providing timely and accurate research, analysis, and reporting of all Union Pension Health & Welfare liabilities to MPIPP, SAG/AFTRA, WGA, and DGA. He/she partners with colleagues to support the day-to-day operational activities within the pension area and special projects including guild audits in cooperation with the different groups (Labor Relations, 3rd parties, etc.). This individual is responsible for maintaining administrative procedures as well as recommendation of business process changes to promote data integrity, accurate reporting, and efficient processing. He/she is also responsible for accurate development and maintenance of records (current and historical) needed to administer and research pension contributions and audits and maintaining paper and electronic filing / record keeping systems. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Records Management department and assisting with special projects, as needed.

The Daily
• Administer and support timely filings and payments of union pension health & welfare liabilities
• Ensure timely and accurate responses to field questions regarding each function
• Administer support and respond to/follow up on requests for documents from internal HR Services clients and external partners including, Residuals, Business Affairs and Labor Relations
• Responsible for credit explanations, reuse, clips and feature payments memos processing and tracking
• Ensure documented procedures are followed
• Process requests within service level agreements timeframes
• Correspond with other departments as well as guild contacts and other 3rd party vendors
• Support an environment that delivers exceptional customer service, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Support resolution to escalated operational or policy issues, from within the function
• Responsible for paper and electronic filing and maintenance for the department
• Prepare summary reports for HR Services management and Labor Relations in relation to guild audits
• Participate in other projects and tasks as required

The Essentials
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a confidential environment required
• Knowledge of pension health & welfare compliance required
• Experience in pension health & welfare plans strongly preferred
• Previous general office/filing and documents experience required
• Previous HR, Benefits, Legal or Labor Relations experience strongly preferred
• Previous audit, compliance and legal experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Windows, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook required; Microsoft Access, FilemakerPro preferred
• Must be able to pay attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
• Must be able to organize, prioritize and schedule work effectively
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills
• Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel
• Must have knowledge of federal and statutory requirements relate to legal documents
• Must be able to handle a high volume in a fast-paced environment
