The Job

A Newsource Writer/Producer of Money Matters must be skilled in crafting broadcast ready scripts that are accurate and conversational. This person is expected to write a variety of business and consumer scripts for the CNN Newsource Money Matters product. High performing Writer/Producers will also be expected to produce the live business reports from NASDAQ.

The ideal candidate must be able to provide excellent customer service to the Money Matters' affiliates and collaborate well with the anchor.

The Essentials
Requirements for this position include 2 years or more producing experience and 3-5 years total news experience. Experience with writing for business news is preferred. Creative written and oral skills are also essential, as well as strong organizational skills and flexibility. A college bachelor's degree is also required.
