The Job

The Manager, Creative Content will support the VP or Executive Director in all aspects of creative content for Theatrical and Home Entertainment.

The Daily
• Contribute to the production and delivery process of content for each film release including EPK, Theatrical Marketing, Promotional Partner content, Sizzle Reels, Home Entertainment Enhanced Content, and Digital Content pieces
• Daily update with Creative Content Executive Director to manage the status of all materials being created
• Liaise with Home Entertainment, Publicity, Digital, Creative, Creative Finishing and Filmmakers for EPK related and content updates and feedback
• Maintain Content Tracking documents to be shared among internal stakeholders
• Participate in the planning and organization of Behind-the-Scenes coverage; assist in pulling, editing, and approving Behind-the-Scenes materials
• Manage the content approval process for legal, music, filmmakers, and talent
• Manage the collection and distribution of raw elements to vendors (title treatments, graphics, behind-the-scenes footage, dailies clips, etc.)
• QC finished content before distribution and manage the delivery of final pieces; addition of appropriate end cards, issue finishing instructions, etc.
• Manage the archiving of finished materials, work with vendors to archive raw assets
• Interface with vendors to communicate delivery updates as well as creative updates and changes when necessary
• Participate and contribute to creative content brainstorm sessions
• Process and track purchase orders for vendors to ensure timely payment
• Work closely with finance team regarding budgets/actuals for projects
• Work to create an efficient department workflow and manage/issue reports
• Organize and monitor department shared drive and internal cloud media storage sites
• Managing script requests
• Ordering assets, digitizing, uploading to internal system
• Updating internal systems to process content for digital and blu-ray deliveries
• Research catalog EC
• Delivery of assets physically and digitally
• Uploading content to internal systems
• Coordinating Covid Compliance for productions
• Booking facilities/stages/parking/security for shoots

The Essentials
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be able to attend various activities, screenings, and premieres
• Knowledge of editing procedures and finishing procedures for audio/visual materials
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with filmmakers and management
• Must know film elements for finishing and delivery requirements, i.e., audio configurations, picture format, etc.
• Must have complete knowledge of various file formats to include pros and cons of each format, budget implications, and quality resolution
