Job Description
Warner Bros. Games Boston is a Warner Bros. Games development studio focused on creating free-to-play games for mobile platforms. The studio is utilizing its extensive expertise in creating persistent online worlds that foster powerful social gaming communities to develop its hit mobile game, Game of Thrones: Conquest.

WB Games Boston seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our Live Tools Engineering team. In this position, you will implement and maintain the tools and service that support our mobile title, Game of Thrones: Conquest and other titles.

The WB Games Boston Live Tools team creates solutions for teams across the studio to support our live games. We have an intranet portal written in Microsoft Blazor to assist with customer issues and the planning of game events and are in the early stages of building out a set of local tools to analyze, create and update game data.

This position can support fully remote work.

The Daily
• Develop, maintain, and improve tools and support applications to help build and operate our online mobile games.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and code health.
• Work with the Microsoft Blazor web framework to build rich intranet and locally installed applications.
• Mentor junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Work closely with other teams to gather requirements, design new systems, and solicit feedback.

The Essentials
• Proficient in basic software development including coding (in any language), data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis (big-O), and systems design.
• Experience with C# and web development.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members and stake holders.
• Create implementations that can be used as reference for others.
• Advocate for best-in-class solutions.
• Provide analysis of workflows and suggestions for improvement.

Nice to have skills but not required for consideration
• Knowledge of Microsoft Blazor.
• Experience with cloud, containerization and microservices.
• Experience using or implementing RESTful and gRPC services.
• Experience with database design and SQL.
