The Job

The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for responding to all incoming facilities helpdesk tickets submitted. Execute office moves, provide package and mail support, and provide support for any onsite events. The successful candidate will be a well-organized self-starter that supports the Facilities Manager and FM team maintain an optimal work environment for a diverse group of Warner Media staff and executives.

The Daily
• Performs the day-to-day facility operations including daily inspection of the facility and safety checks
• Responds to client requests and handles work orders such as hanging pictures or boards, and coordinate service and work orders with the building and vendors.
• Perform mailroom operations including mail sorting and distribution, handling courier services and processing packages.
• Assist with special projects including office moves, furniture installation/reconfiguration, setting up/cleaning up conference rooms and patios for events/large meetings such as town hall meetings, and other duties assigned.
• Maintains office, copy room and break room inventories and supplies
• Maintain office equipment such as copiers/printers and kitchen appliances
• Maintains conference room, break rooms and common areas

The Essentials
• 1-2 years of experience within facilities
• Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High school/General Equivalency Diploma required
• Strong customer service experience
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
