SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for the finishing
of AV materials for marketing .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs the finishing of all TV advertising materials for Worldwide Theatrical Marketing. Must work with Worldwide Marketing Services, Warner Home Video Marketing Services, WBTV, creative executives, filmmakers and creative vendors, in the coordinating, tracking, and collecting of materials in order to properly finish TV spots, radio spots and any other broadcast materials needed for assigned theatrical releases.

Responsible for providing any publicity materials as needed in conjunction with all Warner Bros. theatrical releases. Oversee s the pulling of all clips for off-line presentation as well as overseeing as needed the assembly of the on-line EPK's (Electronic Press Kits) for mass distribution to all media outlets. Responsible for any additional clips and materials needing to be delivered to select media locations. These materials can include long format reels such as HBO specials, Showtime, TIVO, BET, etc. or select scenes. Manages completion and delivery for domestic and international publicity, coordinating with publicity executives.

Supervises editorial staff to ensure projects are completed as requested and within time constraints.
Oversees and tracks all broadcast materials coming into and moving out of the Idea Place (i.e. features, trailers, off-line and on-line materials) Ensures that the material is logged in and out and informs all parties assigned to the project that the material is available for use. Monitors and maintains inventory of all broadcast materials as required. This involves working with Marketing services, creative vendors, filmmakers and management / clients on collection and trafficking of this material.

Works with Marketing Services on all legal and billing requirements for advertising and publicity materials.

Directs the finishing of materials for special projects (i.e. in-house reels, corporate or divisional presentations) and ensures delivery of materials.

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education:

BA degree in related field or relevant work experience required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of technical processes necessary for the execution of both broadcast advertising and publicity materials.

Must have managerial/supervisory skills.

Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and present campaigns to management and filmmakers.

Work Experience:

Approximately 5 -7 years experience with broadcast materials / production at either a major motion picture studio and/or creative agency.

Licenses or Certificates:

None.

Physical Demands:

General office activities: walking, talking, standing sitting, typing, finger manipulation, lifting, and bending, etc.

Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person and on the telephone.
