Job Description

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Project Leadership and Delivery 70%

Lead the delivery of all workstreams for the What's On Asia implementation. You will be accountable for ensuring the project remains on track and is delivered to the quality agreed with the stakeholders, managing project resources including business analysts, developers, testers and other internal resources, as well as 3rd party suppliers, ensuring the right resources are available at the right time to deliver on time and on budget. Track and manage the resolution of risks and issues, escalating where necessary.

Budget Management 5%

Ensure the project budget remains on track by monitoring closely, working with our finance partner and 3rd party suppliers. Where additional budget is required, coordinate on producing a business case and raising an ACE (advance capitalised expenditure request) and PO where relevant.

Project Governance, Definition, Plan and Execution 10%

Create detailed project plans and lead the execution of the plans to a successful conclusion. Ensure all relevant documentation and sign offs are completed, eg project charters, change requests, business requirements documents, solution design documents, test plans, etc

Stakeholder and change management. 10%

Liaison between stakeholders, operating and technology teams (including 3rd party outsourcers) ensuring that all parties have the information needed to be able to do their jobs, make effective and metrics-based decisions. Ensure a high level of change management is in place to guide the stakeholders through this significant transition.

Strategy, Benefits and Reporting 5%

Create and maintain data gathering and reporting mechanisms to facilitate the organisational learning cycle. Foster a culture of fact-based decision making and cause - effect analysis that focuses on getting better every day. Maintain and use communication channels with local groups to keep all parties informed and aligned. Prepare periodic reports for distribution to all interested parties which will demonstrate the effectiveness of the initiatives undertaken.

ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE
Years of experience: 2+ years of project management or delivery lead experience
Business and technical experience in the broadcast/content preparation/distribution/media industry.
Experience in delivery of business change and improvement projects. Experience working in a Project Management Office environment.
Broad knowledge of and experience in project prioritisation skills. Knowledge of vendors and technologies in broadcast, specifically channel management systems such as Vision, What's On, IBMS etc.
Broad knowledge of and experience in resource estimation and planning. Experience in/excellent knowledge in content preparation and distribution.
Broad knowledge of and experience in project budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting.
Broad knowledge of and experience in risk mitigation and issue management.
Demonstrated understanding of business process analysis.
Able to express concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing to varied audiences at all levels of the business.
Familiar with SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Project or other project management apps, e.g., Clarizen PPM.
Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
General knowledge of effective problem solving and analytical skills.
General knowledge of meeting facilitation (agenda, meeting outcomes, actions capture, etc) and general presentation skills.
Ability to lead to drive change and influence others.
A strong interest in the content preparation and distribution.
Broad knowledge and experience in media, broadcast, communications or related experience.
