Job Description
The Job

Provides practical legal advice and support in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment. He/she must have a broad legal background and experience that will enable him or her to address the complex and difficult legal issues that arise from day-to-day operations.

The Daily
• Structure, review, draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including NDA's, distribution agreements, network carriage agreements, digital distribution agreements, and other similar transactions.
• Support and provide guidance to the Distribution and Anti-Piracy functions by reviewing legal issues and documentation and providing timely and efficient advice.
• Review and analyze laws and regulations in foreign markets, as applicable to specific business needs.
• Maintain appropriate files, logs, and other documentation, keeping in mind the Legal Department's role as depository for definitive legal documentation.
• Support the monitoring and coordination of WarnerMedia Latin America's regulatory and legal compliance programs.
• Scrupulously observe corporate policies and procedures.
• Principal responsibilities are those most important or most frequently performed duties.

The Essentials
• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Member in good standing of the Florida Bar
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish/Portuguese) and proven ability to negotiate and draft agreements in both languages
• A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years' experience in international and/or transactional law matters
• Experience drafting and negotiating transactions, with superior communications, analytical, problem solving, and writing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Strong people skills with proven ability to build strong working relationship with internal clients at all levels of management
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
