Job Description
Warner Bros. Studio Operations (WBSO) oversees the physical operations of the historic 110-acre main lot in Burbank including its 30+ soundstages and 20-acre backlot, as well as production-related services including post production creative services, costume, set-dressing, construction, set lighting, catering, transportation, photography and much more. The production site also hosts tours for consumers offering guests intimate views at the inner workings of thriving entertainment studios.

The Job

Warner Bros. Studio Operations (WBSO), a cornerstone of Warner Bros., seeks a talented professional to join the WBSO Finance team. The Analyst will directly support the Operations of WBSO's Post Production Creative Services (PPCS) group. The position plays a vital role in PPCS day-to-day Operations and supports the month-end close process, including the preparation of financial reports, deliverables, and ensuring monthly PPCS revenue and expenses are entered and reported accurately. This role interacts daily with PPCS operations personnel in addition to being the point Finance contact for several businesses within PPCS.

Job Responsibilities
• Execute billing through analyzing daily work orders for multiple PPCS business lines; review for irregularities and overages; generate and track invoices.
• Prepare and submit month-end close deliverables including but not limited to: KPI reports, revenue/expense accruals, and variance analysis.
• Ensure daily PPCS bookings are entered accurately in Xytech Mediapulse.
• Support additional month-end/quarter-end reporting deliverables to Corporate, WBSO Finance management, and business unit operational management as required.
• Communicate with PPCS talent and clients regarding budgets, vendor setups, account setups, PO tracking, payment of invoices.
• Prepare and review annual operating budgets, periodic forecasts, and monthly statements for multiple business units. Analyze and report on variances vs. forecast.
• Manage multiple deadlines, assignments, and changing priorities.
• Perform special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required.
• Identify and pursue workflow and productivity improvement opportunities.

The Essentials
• 0 - 2 years relevant work experience in finance/accounting, strategy and business planning, and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of entertainment industry, film and television production, and studio operations preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration required.
• Experience in P&L, cash flow modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis is a plus.
• Experience in preparation of strategic reports and financial analyses to assist management in business decisions preferred but not required.
• The successful candidate will spend a significant portion of the day using the PC. Such software includes, but is not limited to:

• SAP / Business Warehouse
• Adaptive / Workday
• Additional mainframe systems
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of staff and management both written and verbal.
