Warner Bros. Games Boston is a Warner Bros. Games development studio focused on creating free-to-play games for mobile platforms. The studio is utilizing its extensive expertise in creating persistent online worlds that foster powerful social gaming communities to develop its hit mobile game, Game of Thrones: Conquest.

The Job
In this individual contributor position, you'll be working with a collaborative team of leadership and developers to create engaging game systems that will appeal to our players. Your role will be to help us conceptualize, develop and maintain features on our AAA 4x mobile strategy game. You'll be joining an inclusive and positive studio culture in a rapidly growing industry.

The Daily
• Help to support the product vision with compelling game loops, systems, deep social integration and sustainable economies.
• Work closely with Design and Product Management to optimize existing game mechanics.
• Test and validate design assumptions by collaborating with Product Management and User Researchers.
• Communicate! Actively share knowledge within your area of expertise and help to guide other related disciplines through your designs.
• Assess new market trends, features, tech and emerging techniques to stay competitive.
• Work closely with our live game economy, live events and feature releases.

The Essentials
• Strong knowledge of 4x game design principles, theories and contemporary trends.
• Advanced experience in data-driven game design, with great instincts in the cohesion of systems, economy, and narrative design.
• Proven skills in deconstructing and prototyping competitive game design elements and understanding the correlation with player experience and satisfaction.
