Overview

The role's primary responsibility is the planning & executing of theatrical marketing campaigns for the Universal slate of movies in the Philippines. The role acts as a key link ensuring campaigns are directionally aligned to strategies from regional & Home Office, whilst embodying local market nuances.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute the marketing strategy for all the releases in the territory in line with the regional & global marketing guidelines
• Implement the timely roll out of marketing campaigns in an effective and efficient manner, leading to high visibility, recall and word of mouth for the key titles
• Manage the selection, creation, and localization of marketing assets to best suit local market
• Oversee individual title budgets with high level of focus on maximizing ROI on ad spend
• Management of a direct report, providing clear guidance and goals
• Ensure all asset requests & marketing strategy documents, are well drafted, accurate and submitted in a timely manner for approvals
• Management of marketing agencies and vendors, with clear briefing & performance management systems to ensure consistent delivery to set strategies & KPIs
• Proactively formulate marketing collaborations and partnerships across suppliers, trade partners, group companies and third-party brands to maximize exposure & engagement for movie titles
• Maintain a clear understanding of local consumer landscape, exhibitors, and the competition
• Develop post-campaign reports with a clear sense of insights & learnings to continuously optimize performance
• Work closely with all distribution lead to ensure the strategic direction for each release is successfully implemented to plan.
• Management of all social handles in the territory, maximizing local reach & engagement via direct channels

Qualifications & requirements
• Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or related discipline
• Ideally 3-5 years working experience in marketing management
• Excellent command of working across online & traditional media channels
• Experience in media planning especially in digital media as well as management of agencies & vendors
• Demonstrable experience in management of owned/paid/earnt digital media performance
• Detailed knowledge in social & digital media analytics
• Demonstrable track record of handling experiential marketing activations
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong stakeholder management skills, working across multi-territory teams
• Track record of devising and executing innovative marketing campaign
• Experience working in media, entertainment, or theatrical industry is highly desirable
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) & presentation skills
• ROI conscious with experience of managing budgets effectively
• Possess strong cultural & creative sensitivity to guide regional teams as to needs of the market
• Bilingual in both English and Tagalog – ability to communicate fluently in both languages
