Streaming PR Manager - GSA (w/m/d)
You will be responsible for ensuring the successful PR launch of our streaming service regarding fictional productions (US content as well as Local Productions) and establishing the brand and platform as one of the leading streaming services in Germany. You will maximize the overall press coverage on both: fictional content and brand. Therefore, you will plan and execute the PR tasks in line with the overall streaming strategy by developing and maintaining a strong relationship to media and key journalists to generate the best press coverage around content and brand. You will also have other responsibilities such as budget supervision, talent relationship management, working together with Marketing with regard to influencers strategy, monitoring, collecting, and sharing results.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Increase brand awareness and consideration strategically through editorial coverage of our streaming service and content in Germany
• Manage and execute PR-activities on the launches of US series premieres as well as local original productions, including establishing relations with talents and production companies and take the lead on communicating PR preparations, plans and executions internally, including any EMEA stakeholders, as well as to involve stakeholder in the production.
• Provide regular updates regarding the PR planning, execution and results, as well as alerting on business and corporate oriented press inquiries and coverage with suggestions on communications
• Plan and execute events like press conferences, press junkets, gala premieres, festival screenings and guerilla stunts
• Manage the local GSA PR Budget for Local productions and US series
• Handle corporate, sensitive stories and support company executives in handling media and press inquiries
• Provide regular updates for the EMEA streaming team management and stakeholders on upcoming stories, opportunities, challenges, and announcements, including timing and strategy
Qualifications & Experience…
• Minimum 8 years of demonstrated PR experience with established connections to local media and key journalists
• Insight in both local and international Film/ TV industry
• Experience in production support and organization of events in the film/series sector
• German as mother tongue, professional English (other language would be a plus)
• Creative and outgoing personality with a flexible and independent work ethic
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player, pro-active and result oriented
