Your New Role…

This is an instrumental role within CNN International Commercial Strategic Planning.

Working closely with the CNNIC, Manager of Strategic Planning, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for generating sales reports to support the needs of the sales team and ensure they have the current sales information available.

The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining underlying Sales data supporting the regular and ad-hoc reports.

While the position has no direct revenue accountability, it does interface directly with sales offices worldwide. In addition, the position is integral to managing advertising revenue across a large portfolio of feeds and sites.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Provide sales reporting to communicate sales performance to Senior Management. Responsible for working directly with efforts sales teams across multiple international markets to update on weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly performances relative to forecast, budget, and target.
• Produce ad-hoc management reports. The reports will be inclusive of but not limited to discount, ad category, client detail (new, renewals), churn, deal size as well as analyse and summarise key takeaways for sales and sales management.
• Process and Reporting Improvement. Identify areas of reporting efficiency and propose structured recommendations to management.
• Looker Visualisation. Development of Looker Visualisation dashboards and reconciliation between source data and Looker.

Qualifications & Experience…
• Accounting/Finance related degree
• CIMA or ACA qualified
• Advanced Excel skills; certifications a plus
• Access database skills and familiarity with reporting systems (Looker visualisation a plus)
• Excellent data analysis, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines
• Proactive
• Strong analytical skills
• Preferable experience with digital media agency, digital media owner
• Fluent with Microsoft office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
