The Sr. Social Media Manager for Brazil is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with overarching marketing goals for the BLC and Streaming/Premium brands. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure brand and message consistency across all marketing channels
This position leads a team of Social Media Analysts and a Social Media Manager, providing guidance, feedback, and support to drive results. The Sr. Social Media Manager ensures the creation of engaging, platform-specific content tailored to different audiences, while maintaining consistency with the overall brand voice and tone.
Staying current on social trends, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices is key to evolving content strategies. The role is highly analytical, using data to inform decisions and optimize campaign performance.
In addition to organic strategy, the Sr. Social Media Manager oversees paid social campaigns, including budget management, creative development, and performance tracking. This role also manages relationships with agencies and key partners to ensure smooth execution and delivery of all social media initiatives.
Your role accountabilities:
• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies that align with broader marketing objectives at both regional and local levels, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and business goals.

• Provide strategic oversight of daily social media operations, guiding the creation of compelling content, community engagement initiatives, and data-driven performance monitoring in collaboration with a dedicated team.
• Continuously evaluate emerging platform trends and algorithm changes, adjusting content and engagement strategies to optimize performance across priority markets.
• Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (including Marketing, PR, Brand, and Creative) to ensure consistency in messaging and storytelling across all consumer touchpoints.
• Partner closely with Social Media Analysts to extract insights from performance data, identifying trends and key opportunities to refine strategies and elevate results.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships to amplify the reach, impact, and innovation of social media campaigns.
• Build and strengthen relationships with international counterparts across business verticals, ensuring alignment and collaboration in executing global social media strategies.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns, including budget management, audience targeting, and creative development to drive measurable business outcomes.
• Lead the strategy and execution of social media coverage for live events, ensuring real-time storytelling that enhances brand visibility and audience engagement.
Qualification & Experiences:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• Fluency in English
• Solid experience in social media management, with a focus on entertainment companies or agencies
• Experience leading teams and agency managing.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Emplifi, or Buffer) and analytics platforms
• Experience creating and managing social media advertising campaigns.
• Knowledge of social media best practices and emerging trends
• Experience presenting insights at all levels of an organization
• Proficient in Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel
