Job Description
The Continuous Improvement Senior Manager will join the global CI Squad team composed of people with amazing superpowers that drives the buildout of true multifunctional GBS for Warner Bros. Discovery. The team is part of a wider GBS Strategy & Transformation Organization.

The role acts as global/regional CI partner for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the globe within the GBS organization. It will play a key role in educating GBS about the CI mindset that leads to the identification, development, and implementation of initiatives to deliver business Transformation. Each CI squad member acts as an SME within their area of expertise. What's your superpower?

Job Responsibilities

Identify and deliver service improvement activity within the GBS by leveraging process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking

Acts as global/regional CI partner to dedicated processes (e.g. PTP, CTC) and provide ongoing support in the area of Continuous Improvement, Transition, Project and Change Management

Promote and be an ambassador of a continuous improvement mindset to support an ongoing program of change across the entire GBS

Lead strategic initiatives within the GBS on the journey to World Class processes with global span of control.

Managing relationships and expectations with internal stakeholders to maximize delivered value

Manage the global/regional projects pipeline to dedicated processes (e.g. PTP, CTC)

Leading and facilitating process improvement workshops to drive ideas and solutions across GBS

Challenging the status quo within business processes to identify better ways of working to drive value creation

To actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance

Perform post-implementation reviews to ensure lesson-learned sharing for future improvement projects Leading and mentoring process improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen, SixSigma)

Ensure smooth and efficient communication with all stakeholders to keep them aware and aligned incl. effective risk and issue management as needed

Delivery of advanced Continuous Improvement training based on needs

Mentor CI Managers on process improvement etc.

Work Experience
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in a similar role, including continuous improvement, transition and project management, business/financial analysis
• Minimum 3 years of experience & successful track record directly managing strategic projects & programs (incl. transitions) of high complexity, significant ROI, scale and international exposure

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Technology, Human Resources) required

Knowledge/Skills
• Self-driven, independent leader, with strong decision-making abilities and a results-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve objectives taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery
• Ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment with flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
• Great relationship builder - ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, as well as senior management
• Strong ability to interact professionally at all levels (incl. top management) internally and externally
• Experienced in people management with strong interpersonal skills and experience managing and developing teams
• Exceptional understanding of continuous improvement/project management methodologies/concepts/tools with a proven track record. This includes but is not limited to Lean, Six Sigma, ToC, PMI, Agile or Change management
• Great project/program management skills and proven track record
• Experience in process automation using various tools such as Workflows, RPA, Chatbots, AI will be considered an advantage
Other Requirements
• Experience providing training/mentoring sessions
• Proactive, can-do, problem solver, ''nothing's impossible'', team player attitude
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
• Working experience with various ERPs systems will be an asset
