Job Description
The Senior Manager , Marketing Finance will play a key role within the DTC Marketing team, supporting Originals Marketing and Brand marketing teams by forecasting, maintaining , and tracking spending . You will work closely with the marketing teams to gather inputs and understand drivers . You will develop deep competencies in this area , providing the marketing team and finance stakeholders the required information for decision making.
Your Role Accountabilities …
• Manage the marketing budget s, ensuring effective allocation and adherence to targets
• Maintain d aily communication with the marketing team to understand spending plans , budget and timing
• Enter all plans and spending into our financial tool (finesse) relied upon by FP&A for monthly forecast
• Collaborate with various teams in the company, Production, FP&A, Accounts Payable and Ad Sales
• Prepare, code, process and secure documentation for all invoices ensuring timel y and accurate processing
• Collaborate with the media team to actualize monthly media spending and identify savings , ensure all media spend is cod ed properly while overseeing a coordinator responsible for processing media invoices .
• Collaborate with FP&A on the monthly forecast . Provide variance analysis, communicate actual vs forecast and update on planned spend for the remainder of the year.
• Ad Hoc Analysis for senior leadership and FP&A
Qualifications & Experience…
• 8+ years' experience in accounting/finance
• English proficient
• Strong computer skills using excel
• Experience with Oracle a plus
• Highly organized , detail-oriented with the ability to multitask , i dentify and escalate discrepancies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships across the organization
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills (must have)
