Job Description
This position plays a crucial part in supporting the Marketing Department by planning and executing marketing activities across key distributors, including VIVO, OI, CLARO, TIM, and SKY/DGO, to help achieve the company's defined performance targets (growth and engagement). The role aligns with WarnerBros Discovery's overall strategy, driving key initiatives and partnerships.
Responsibilities extend beyond digital campaigns to include general marketing support, such as promoting WBD's content calendar, negotiating communication placements on distributor platforms, creating sales force materials, events, coordinating training and co-branded actions with products like Max and linear channels.
A strong emphasis is placed on building collaborative relationships with internal teams, including Customer Service, Finance, Legal, Programming, and Brand Marketing, ensuring all marketing initiatives align with WBD's broader strategic goals and identifying synergy opportunities.
Additionally, the role involves managing financial inputs and overseeing data entry into internal systems, as well as conducting relevant analysis and projections to support business decisions.
Your role accountabilities
Growth & Engagement Initiatives
• Share WBD premieres, content highlights, and marketing assets (images, logos, trailers, guides) with distributors to facilitate their communication with their subscriber base;
• Negotiate placements for WBD content in distributors' O&O, ensuring alignment and tracking of these initiatives;
• Support the execution of sales-driving efforts for WBD's linear channels and streaming platforms (OTT), including incentive campaigns, retention efforts, media campaigns (online/offline), in-store promotions, loyalty programs, engagement campaigns, and product launches. This also includes organizing events and delivering both in-person and online training.
• Maintain daily contact with the Distribution/Sales team to ensure client needs are addressed from a commercial standpoint.
Presentation development, taskforces and KPIs tracking
• Create detailed presentations to engage as well post-mortem and actively participate in taskforces while tracking and reporting KPIs (such as campaign results).
Clients' materials and training
• Guide distributors in the creation of marketing materials and liaise with internal branding and product teams to ensure these materials are aligned with WBD's brand strategies and receive necessary approvals.
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience in managing 360° marketing campaigns (online, offline, and social initiatives);
• Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Communications;
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with internal and external clients;
• Highly organized and capable of multitasking;
• Results-driven with the ability to focus on outcomes;
• Other: Creative, curious, fast learner, and passionate about content.
• Language proficiency: English and/or Spanish.
Other Nice to Have
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Brazilian Pay TV marketing;
• General understanding of digital tools (e.g., Google Analytics);
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage one's own tasks effectively.
