Your New Role...

WBG SD is looking for a Senior Advanced Technical Artist to support the development of various systems, integrations of assets, performance optimizations, tools development, & general technical design support for a new AAA, free-to-play, cross-platform game.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Ongoing Profiling of the game to identify performance issues, finding opportunities to optimize
• Improve pipelines & workflows for artists & designers to speed up & improve development
• Work closely with VFX & Tech artists to optimize & improve performance with minimal visual impact
• Work closely with engineering to support a variety of initiatives relating to cross platform play
• Support system designers in tooling in Unreal
• Support tech artists in asset integration and optimizations
• Implement and/or shepherd assets through the technical implementation pipeline
• Create documentation for pipelines, performance improvements, & profiling best practices
• Collaborate with product managers and consumer insights to test and validate design assumptions
• Assess new market trends, features, technologies and emerging techniques to stay competitive

Qualifications and Experience...
• 10+ years experience designing game systems for new or live free-to-play games
• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working on a live free-to-play game & console games
• Masterful use of spreadsheets (Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets)
• Expertise in generating high and low-level documentation (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Google Docs, Word)
• Effective use of visual communication tools in communicating designs (Visio, Lucidchart, Visio, etc)
• Strong written and verbal communication to allowing you to work effectively within your team, across disciplines and with key stakeholders
• Excellent critical, analytical and feedback skills
• A deep love of video games
• Experience in scripting and Unreal Engine a plus

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
